Our company is currently seeking employees to fill the position as ACCOUNTANT. For those of you who live in Ipoh and its surrounding areas, we need you to then join and becoming a part of our company to work in our office, Chemical Industries (Malaya) Sdn. The average starting salary we can offer you is in the range of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700. If you have credibility beyond the minimum criteria we are looking for, the provisions regarding the average initial salary we offer may change according to our company HRD agreement.

  1. Handling full set of accounts and daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation.
  2. Responsible for all aspects of accounts/financial related activities including accounting, financial reports and analysis, auditing, taxation and budgeting for the Company.
  3. Responsible for the preparation of monthly reports, financial statements and cash flows forecast and projections for Management
  4. Prepare schedule and analysis for management, auditors and Tax requirements
  5. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and compliance with regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  6. Liaise with Auditors, Company secretary and Tax agents
  7. Responsible for product costing and standard cost update.
  8. Responsible for filing accurate SST return and handle other SST matters.
  9. Work on ad-hoc assignment/project as required.
  10. Checking on payroll


  1. Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Professional qualifications or equivalent; and MIA member
  2. Minimum 5 years relevant working experience, preferably in manufacturing environment with ERP system
  3. Experience in financial management is an advantage.
  4. Strong working knowledge of MFRS 
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
  6. Strong problem solving and creative skills with ability to exercise sound judgment.
  7. Possess high level of integrity, meticulous, analytical and able to work independently.
