Job Summary

  • Work as Assistant, Logistics Support based in CGL Klang for DKSH Malaysia.

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for electrical maintenance and troubleshooting work for all electrical equipment and electrical installations.
  • Responsible and to ensure Fire Alarm System Equipment in good condition
  • Responsible for the maintenance of facilities services and equipment in accordance with industry standards and contractual obligation
  • Arrange facilities and do preparation for audit
  • Rectify any power trip at work stations
  • Follow up with fire equipment services together with vendor
  • Receive and process requests for maintenance support
  • Undertake basic maintenance tasks on site as required
  • To top up diesel on standby generators and diesel pumps when required
  • To carry out project work from time to time and follow up with vendors and contractors to ensure the job or project is compliance with HSE regulation and procedure
  • Be available after office hours for emergency tasks
  • To carry out any other related jobs as instructed by management
  • To check all garbage roro bin at recycle area and issue SDN and stamp and sign off gate past and to monitor and booking bin for replacement
  • To do checklist for daily, weekly, monthly, half-yearly and yearly
  • Monthly roller shutter checklist for warehouse and greasing.
  • Minor air condition servicing for monthly basis for main office, training room and meeting rooms
  • Monthly dock leveller cleaning and checklist.
  • To support FM team and Operations team during stock count
  • To assist and support mechanical team for any equipment breakdown in mechanical & civil work and plumbing work

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of warehousing, distribution, transport and supply chain management
  • Demonstrate working knowledge on safety, health and environment (SHE) programs, good warehousing practices, good manufacturing practices, hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP) systems
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge in process and cost optimization
  • Proven numeracy and quantitative analysis
  • Demonstrate knowledge in warehouse management systems (ideally SAP)
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken

Education

  • Diploma/certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or other related fields

Work Experience

  • Minimum one to two years’ experience in similar role
