We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Assistant Manager to join our team in a cross-functional role. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead sales initiatives while collaborating with various departments to drive overall business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients in the scientific community, identifying their needs and presenting our products and services as solutions.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network, represent the company, and stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management regarding sales performance, market insights, and areas for growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales in laboratory supplies, equipment, and services or related industries, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building and managing client relationships.
  • Punctuality, reliability, excellent time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable insights.
  • A passion for the laboratory supplies, equipment, and services industry and a desire to stay updated on the latest advancements and trends.
  • Candidates with less experience but a strong interest in the position are encouraged to apply.
