Our company offers competitive salary that can be adjusted to how skilled the capability of interested candidates will be, with monthly base salary RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 in accordance with the decisions of our company's HRD.

Job Purpose

Assist in planning, budgeting and forecasting process to support company strategic direction. Conduct deep dive analysis to maximise revenues and optimise costs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Business Case: Review the financial analysis, business case and proposals to ensure that the findings and assumptions are reasonable and accurate with internal and external data sources. Provide recommendations when necessary and ensure alignment with Company’s objectives. Provide advisory role to all internal and external stakeholders in all investment and commercial projects. Build financial model where necessary to support company-wide initiatives.
  • Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business decision, root cause analysis and post implementation reviews to achieve Company’s KPIs. Analyze Capex and Opex so that such analysis can be used by the management team to monitor and track the progress of business against the forecasts.
  • Performance Management: Tracking of financial and non-financial KPI with analysis and insights. Develop a strong understanding on revenue and cost drivers.
  • Business Planning: Update forecast and undertake scenario planning for all line of business. (including the forecast of non-financial drivers, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
  • AOP: Assist in budgetary planning process and business plan development across the organisation, aligning to the overall company’s strategies (especially in terms of Capex) 
  • Process Improvement: Assist in process improvement in relation to the investment and commercial tracking, planning and forecasting process. Continuously improve and review on the reporting template, deck to ensure on timely delivery.
  • Budget Operations: To handle operations allocations (eg: budget loading/budget transfer/resolve some technical errors due to PR/PO/GR/IR etc)
  • Way of Working: Drive collaboration and positive relationships between functions to meet Company’s objectives.

Key Experiences and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, post graduate diploma or professional degree in Finance / Economics with a certified accounting qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Telecommunication, Accounting firms, Consulting, Business Advisory, FMCG
  • Preferably candidates specialized in Business Advisory with Finance/Business Analytics background
  • Possess intermediate skill in financial modelling, strong analytics and good presentation skills
  • Effective stakeholder and people management skills
