The initial salary that we can offer is quite competitive with a range of RM 4,800 - RM 7,000. If the credibility and experience that the candidate has exceeds the minimum criteria we need, the salary can change and adjusted according to the decisions of our company's HRD agreement.

1.    Responsible for the planning, managing and execution of production operations

2.    Coordinate and plan production priorities, workflow and schedule

3.    Monitor quality standards and costs and provide administrative support

4.    Procuring raw materials and equipment, appointing laborers, and liaising with other departments

5.    Develop and update standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations

6.    Ensure that all equipment, materials and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production processes

7.    Optimize production operations to meet quality and performance standards

8.    Ensure safety measures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents and hazards

9.    Ensure production process is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures

10. Analyse overall budget and implement cost-optimization initiatives

11. Prepare cost estimation for materials, equipment and labour hiring

12. Liaise and coordinating production with other departments

13. Ensure proper control and use of raw material to minimize wastages

14. Direct, optimize and coordinate the entire order cycle to ensure timely delivery to internal and external customers

15. Make sure that the goods received are in good condition, check that they meet the order specifications and check for any defects

16. Develop and recommend improvements to warehouse operations for efficiency and execution excellence

17. Emphasize workplace safety precautions and employee safely compliance, as well as hygiene in workplace

18. Performs other duties as required by the management

Oversea Enterprise Berhad is incorporated and domiciled in Malaysia, and it has been listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad since 1 April 2010.

The Group started out in 1970’s as a partnership business between Mr Yu Soo Chye and an independent third party. Together they founded the first “Restoran Oversea” in Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur. The success of our first “Restoran Oversea” restaurant encouraged us to open our second restaurant in Ipoh in 1982. To date the Group’s operation of food service outlets entails a chain of five (7) Chinese restaurants, two (4) outlets in Klang Valley, two (2) outlets in Ipoh and one (1) outlet in Genting Highlands offering home cooked Cantonese themed cuisines. In addition to the chain of Chinese restaurants, the Group has ventured into the operation of Dim Sum and pork free restaurant. The Dim Sum outlet is located at Sri Petaling was opened in 2005, with the intention to target Dim Sum connoisseur while EMP Collection outlet is located at The Westin Hotel and was opened in 2022.

Our business model, besides the operation of food service outlets, also includes the expansion into the manufacturing of confectioneries particularly mooncake since 1986. In 1995, we moved our mooncake operation to our manufacturing facility in Sungai Buloh with a built-up area of approximately 20,00 square feet. Subsequently in 2002, we moved our manufacturing facility to Shah Alam with a total built-up area of 63,246 square feet. As part of the Group’s strategy to expand its portfolio of in-house manufactured products, the Company also ventured into the production of egg rolls and cookies in 199. Our manufacturing concern exports to various countries including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Canada, Macau, Papua New Guinea, China, Singapore and Netherlands.
