Position Objective

Constantly supervise, evaluate, and assess the level of compliance and internal control processes exercised by each business unit as per established policies and procedures and to draw action plans to address the gaps identified, provide support/coaching and at the same time inculcate risk awareness towards job functions at Head Office & Branches.

Support business unit to provide document management support and maintain document control to ensure bank manuals are up-to-date and useful as per the bank standard approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, coordinate, and organize improvements on Quality Assurance through branch supervision visits at Head Office & Branches
  • Improve and evaluate the effectiveness of branch operations processes with objectives to increase customer satisfaction.
  • To provide advice on improvements measures adopted by Head Office & Branches to achieve its business objectives and service improvement.
  • The source of review will be based on analysis from the audit finding, Risk Control Self-Assessment, Key Risk Indicator, Loss Event Data, Complaint Handling, and Monthly Croc and Compliance Report for Head Office and Branch Operation site.
  • To track Business unit performance, explore and recommend the area for improvement in operation model, process workflow, and cost-efficiency.
  • Review existing workflows, procedures, and processes with a view to improving and meeting the Bank’s strategies.
  • Work with Business Departments to ensure that all manual documents are updated and available for Bank’s use at all times.



Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Admin, Accountancy, or any related (Bachelor’s Hons).


Minimum 3-10 years of experience working in Operations Management, Credit Administration, Compliance & Audit. Previous banking background is preferable but nonbanking which is related to work scope is welcome to apply.

Skills & Competencies:           

  • Good Understanding of the General Banking System.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and able to meet dateline.
  • Resourceful and able to leverage the network effectively
  • Ability to collaborate and help the team members and operations team
  • Has the ability to perform a risk assessment on banking operations and provide recommendations and improve processes.
  • Ability to communicate opinions or views of team members and operations team clearly.
