Business Consultants and Analysts

1.        Job description

Involved in the following types of consulting projects servicing external clients:

·                 Initial public offerings (IPO) – business, financial and industry assessments;

·                 Business plans – business strategies, operations planning and financial modelling;

·                 Feasibility studies – business and financial attractiveness, technical feasibility, and industry opportunities and challenges;

·                 Commercial due diligence – business assessment and industry prospects;

·                 Market/Industry studies – assessment of structure, competition, regulatory, business practices, mode of entry, opportunities and challenges

2.        Job scope, responsibilities and functions

·                 Carry out business, financial and industry assessments;

·                 Conduct market/industry research;

·                 Liaise with clients and related parties;

·                 Communicate with authorities, professionals and experts;

·                 Develop strategies, plans, assessments and recommendations;

·                 Write reports;

·                 Provide support to co-workers; and

·                 Work independently and in teams.

3.        Minimum requirements

·                    Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance or a numerical-based discipline;

·                    Spent one or more years in a foreign country for tertiary studies or work;

·                    Fluent in written and spoken English;

·                    Excellent report writing and communications skills; and

·                    Enjoy research, analysis, assessment, strategy development and report writing.

4.        Positions available

·                 Entry level: Recent graduates

·                 Experienced level: Graduates with one or more years of working experience

All are full-time positions based in Selangor, Malaysia. Some interstate and foreign country travels are required.
