As a professiona company, the minimum criteria we need for candidates interested is Diploma & Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma which experienced in Manufacturing & Purchasing/Material Mgmt.

The competitive net salary we can offer is start from RM 1,600 to a maximum of RM 3,700, depending on the capability of the candidate and can be discussed with the HRD of our company.

We are looking for a proactive Buyer for our newly established factory in Seremban, Sendayan Techvalley for underground loading & hauling equipment.

Your primary areas of responsibility. Do we share the same mission?

  • Day to day operational buying process and monitoring supplier performance (purchase order release, confirmation, fulfilment, and administration)
  • ERP parameter maintenance within given framework
  • Resolve inbound discrepancies
  • Support supply chain improvement projects and work closely with other departments in the Supply Chain
  • Manage and improve relationship with suppliers
  • Proactively engage with suppliers to plan and implement initiatives that deliver improved availability and minimize inventory risk (forecasting, buffer stock agreements)
  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate records
  • Monitoring and enforcing the company’s purchasing policies and procedures
  • Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
  • Generate suppliers forecasts and coordinate general purchasing activities for Sandvik contract manufacturing suppliers
  • Ensure that a PO is created correctly, follow up any issues related to PO creation and expedite the order status for generated PO’s
  • Support the user define purchase request when needed
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with Manufacturing, Planning and Engineering department to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner
  • Performance report on purchases made and performing cost analyses
  • Work closely with the team members and Purchasing Manager to complete duties as needed

Your background and what we find important

  • Diploma or degree in relevant field or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of working experience in related field preferably in manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience of purchasing, inventory control, planning and purchase order (PO) processing
  • Your way of working is proactive, customer oriented and you possess development-minded attitude
  • Succeeding in this position requires also ability to clearly communicate ideas with internal and external stakeholders
  • As we act in a global business this job requires fluent English skills
  • Willing to work at Sendayan, Seremban
  • Experience in supplier management is appreciated
