The Post Sales Customer Care team in NI Customer Experience organization has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Specialist. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for supporting customers’ requests related to HW, SW, and Education Services inquiries via primarily phone . The Customer Service Specialist will work closely with internal teams to effectively resolve customers’ issues in the first contact or promptly route to the right team who can support.

POSITION OVERVIEW AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Post Sales Customer Care team in NI Customer Experience organization has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Specialist. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for supporting customers’ requests related to HW, SW, and Education Services inquiries. The Customer Service Specialist will work closely with internal teams to effectively resolve customers’ issues in the first contact or promptly route to the right team who can support.

To be a successful Customer Service Specialist, you should demonstrate strong interpersonal, superior telephone etiquette, teamworking, and effective communication skills paired with customer service and solution driven mentality to collaborate with team members and customers to identify, analyze, and solve problems in fast paced environment. Additionally, a successful Customer Service has strong alignment to the culture, values, and mission of NI, and the NI Customer Experience organization.

  1. CONTENT OF THE JOB

2.1. TASKS

Operational and Administrative Support:

  • Providing timely, accurate, and effective solutions to user problems (SW activation, license file) and answering post sales related SW/Education Services/Repair and Calibration administrative questions for external customers primarily over the phone and/or email or any other communication channel
  • Providing guidance on the installation and working basic functionality of single seat and multiseat

software

  • Reproducing and troubleshooting problems and incompatibilities on a basic level
  • Supporting course and event related administrative information to the external customers via phone/email
  • Keeping accurate records
  • Escalation of advanced technical questions to be designated to the TSR team
  • Required to be logged in to Call Center based on country support team daily plan and take or direct calls to the necessary person/skillset
  • Being familiar with the SW/ED Services quote creation and order booking process

Other:

  • Per request responsible for creating and/or maintaining process documents for training purposes and/or mentoring new colleagues
  • Initiate/Propose improvements on departmental processes as well as a job definition

2.2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for working tools and equipment used during daily routine
  • Working with external customers directly
  • Booking orders and creating quotes
  • Providing coverage via phone in shifts
  • Ensuring good customer experience, minimizing the abandoned rate of calls

2.3. COMMUNICATION

  • Daily and directly with customers in a professional manner
  • Daily and directly with other departments (i.e. sales, operations) over the phone, e-mail, and person-to-person
  • Channel of communication: all NI internal systems, phone
  1. REQUIREMENTS

 3.1. Education & Experience:

  • University Degree or equivalent experience is a requirement
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and enjoy working with people.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to analyze the problem and think creatively to provide a solution.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandari
  • Superior telephone etiquette and the ability to deal effectively with customers to make them successful are essential
  • Ability to get along with others and function as a team player as well as work effectively alone.
