Job content
- Involve in the preparation of statutory report, monthly/quarterly/year end closing and report.
- Preparation of ad hoc reports including profitability report, variance analysis reports and other management reports for management use.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting schedules for year-end audit purposes.
- Preparation and verification of accounting reconciliations, accounting schedules and monthly financial reports for management review.
- Computation of corporate tax to ensure correct treatment of expenses items maximizing tax benefits.
- Quarterly preparation of tax estimate and deferred tax.
- Preparation and verification of journals, supervising operations of inventory control, assets management and warranty process.
- Participates in the preparation of annual budget.
- Attends to queries from Operation on systems/operations problem relating to financial aspects.
Qualification
- Preferably Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in handling for a generation full set of accounts.
- Ability to use relational databases and common Window-based software programs.
- Ability to set up and maintain financial accounts and ledgers and utilize an automated accounting system.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and standards.
