We offer a competitive monthly base salary from RM 1,600 - RM 3,700.

Due to prioritize professionalism in the work environment, the salary can be adjusted upon compromise with our company's HRD according to the capabilities of the candidate.

Job Description – Senior Finance

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage and lead the Finance team in Malaysia and Singapore to ensure effective day-to-day operations of overall accounting and finance functions
  • Prepare and develop monthly management reporting and presentations with emphasis on detailed commentary on variances from budget/prior year, investigate unusual variances leading to understanding and resolution of issues.
  • Responsible for annual and quarterly forecast for the business and ensure submission on timely manner.
  • Review reconciliation of the balance sheet items i.e., bank, cash, credit card, creditor and etc on monthly basis.
  • Manage day to day finance operations and cost accounting function including communication of issues and opportunities to management.
  • Responsible in taxation matters including liaise with tax authority and tax consultant.
  • Liaise with both internal and external parties such as bankers, auditors and company secretary on all treasury, statutory and compliance matters.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring optimum cash level for organisation and trade facilities settlement
  • Maintain and monitor day-to-day control over treasury transactions and authorization of bank payments.
  • Monitor foreign currency exposure and hedging requirements where applicable
  • Liaise with bankers including identify, structure, negotiate and finalise financing requirements, financial packages and agreements for new and existing projects.
  • Establish, implement & review financial processes, policies and internal control procedures and to ensure compliance with corporate policies and standard operating procedures or applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure direct and indirect tax regulations are in compliance with applicable standards
  • Ensure compliance to internal control policies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignment as and when required by the management team.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance
  • Preferred Chartered Accountant/CPA/ACCA with at least 5 years of combined Big 4 and relevant commercial experience in financial reporting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in SAP B1 is an added advantage
  • Meticulous and with good attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
  • Candidate who is able to start work immediately will have an advantage
