We are offering a salary of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 for this position for interested candidates. However, this salary range can be negotiated and changed if the candidate's credibility exceeds our expectations and for sure, the agreement is adjusted to the policies of our company's HRD. Job Responsibilities:

(1) Portfolio Analytics

  • Collect and analyse large and unstructured data sets from several sources.
  • Develop and maintain efficient machine learning algorithms to identify key trends and actionable insight.
  • Visualize and present insights identified to stakeholders and management.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of analytical models and recommend improvement.

(2) Business Improvement

  • Identify and originate idea for business improvement.
  • Design and implement company process improvement plan.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new/enhanced workflow to optimize company operating efficiency.
  • Create and monitor the KPI performance of the projects implemented.

(3) Reporting

  • Prepare and present reports to management.
  • Automate and enhance company data extraction process.

(4) Others

  • Provide support to other departments.
  • Assist in any project assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess minimum a degree in quantitative field such as Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science and etc.
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in analytical field.
  • Experience in insurance industry is a plus.
  • Proficient with statistical analysis software, e.g. Python, SAS, or R.
  • Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, data manipulation techniques, and advanced statistical techniques.
  • Result oriented, committed, effective communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Experience with data visualization tool such as Tableau and PowerBI is a plus.
