We can give you a fairly competitive salary in the amount of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 on average. It also can be modified based on the credibility and experience you can provide for our business in accordance with our company HRD agreement.

Role Purpose:

This role acts as the Country Finance Manager and is the advisor to the business supporting the Director Commercial and Director Operations in making decisions by providing them actionable insights.

This role is the manager of 10+ direct reports that jointly support the business within Finance, Procurement and HR activities.


  • Planning, organizing and coordinating the support to the operations and commercial teams 
  • Direct and coordinate the preparation of financial reporting according to local reporting and statutory requirements, including drive and deliver period end-closing analysis and reporting
  • Manage and coordinate the annual external audit process
  • Direct and coordinate the financial accounting (AP/AR/GL)
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
  • Perform and deliver inventory accounting, product cost planning, analysis and reporting
  • Set up and deliver cluster budget and forecast
  • Capex – following up end-to-end CAPEX process, including financial justification calculation and post investment reviews
  • Tax reporting – direct and coordinate tax reporting and manage tax inspections by the local tax authorities
  • Procurement management, including e.g. overseeing the generation of PO requests for the cluster and ensuring discipline in good receipts updates within the cluster
  • HR Management, including direct and coordinate the Employee Benefits Administration, Transactional HR activities and Payroll Management, including backup payroll.
  • People Management – manage, coordinate, coach and develop the Business Services function in including being the line manager (full reporting line) for the Business Service Team.

About you:

  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
  • Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
  • Quick adaptor to new technology tools and processes
  • Familiarity with budget planning and enforcement, human resources, procurement, etc.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP would be an advantage
