We can give you a fairly competitive salary in the amount of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 on average. It also can be modified based on the credibility and experience you can provide for our business in accordance with our company HRD agreement.

A Junior business analyst (JBA) works with project teams and senior/lead business analyst(s) to make sure the products or applications in development meet the needs of the end users. Data analysis and contribution to test cases is one of their top responsibilities, and they report any findings to the senior/lead analyst and the developers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work closely with the business units to gain in-dept understanding of customer’s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges
  • Is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, process, financial and technological risks.
  • Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size of projects to assisting other project managers on large more complex project related to operational business functions.
  • Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilizing formal communication method (for example: emails, workflow, PowerPoint, tasks list etc.) to communicate updates and findings
  • Participate in multiple pre-sales / project meetings /scoping of requirements with the external and internal customers
  • Documenting and communicating the results of any findings related with the requirements from the business
  • Ensure that client needs are analyzed, documented, approved, and delivered as required.
  • Understand customer’s requirements including business workflows, functional and technical specifications
  • Ensure local, regional and global project management and software development lifecycle methodologies are adhered to.
  • Develop Test Scripts and assist with the execution when required.
  • To be part of out-office-hour support to liaise with L3 in resolving the critical issues when required
  • To closely collaborate with senior/lead BA, PM and other stakeholders to refine requirement and acceptance
  • To support in troubleshooting the incidents in the event L1 is incapable of fixing the issue

REQUIREMENTS:

  • IT Tertiary qualification (preferred), or other engineering/technical branches.
  • Fundamental analytical, problem solving  and conceptual thinking skills
