Job Description for 3PL Logistics Executive
- To oversee and monitor day-to-day 3PL logistics partners’ performances of the warehousing, distributions and shipping operations.
- To liaise with forwarder for incoming import shipments, custom clearance, until the goods are ready for sales. Export shipments to East Malaysia, Malaysia Free Trade Zone area and Asian countries.
- To support Group Shipping activities(export & import) by appointing reliable shipment agent in term of cost, service and efficiency and constantly review its performance.
- Plan with transporters for direct shipment deliveries to enhance cost efficiency.
- To so the sampling check/inspect or any abnormality on the incoming containers to ensure the goods are in good order and with proper disposition.
- To maintain and transfer stock for incoming receiving goods, goods returned and monitor other warehouses system inventory.
- To plan and coordinate with Purchasing, Technical dept and 3PL for Sirim labeling schedule and output.
- To do the monthly inventory matching and reconciliation as well as annual and half yearly stock take.
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports such as inventory aging, inventory valuation, slow moving stock performance, shipping report, etc.
- To monitor the good returned and B-grade stocks level and liaise with related parties to ensure the stock is always in the lowest/heathy level.
- To request for quote and coordinate with QC for rework activities at 3PL warehouse.
- To support whatever activities assigned and instructed by Group Supply Chain Senior Manager.
Job Requirement for 3PL Snr Logistics Executive
- Diploma/Degree in business admin, supply chain or relevant field.
- 3-5 years Logistics, Warehouse, Shipping or related experience in 3PL management.
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
- Willing to travel to 3PL or business partners to resolve any operational or adhoc issues.
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of ERP and Excel software.
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
