Our company SKS AIRWAYS SDN. BHD. is currently looking for candidates who are domiciled in Shah Alam/Subang and surrounding areas with minimum criteria Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma & Professional Degree and experienced in the field of Computer/Information Technology & IT-Network/Sys/DB Admin, as well as behave in a disciplined and honest manner, to then be placed in the position of manager, it application support and be able to work in full time system.

In accordance of our HRD decision, the net salary we can offer is of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 per month which is competitive and can be adjusted to the work capabilities that the candidate offers for our company.

Job Title: Manager IT Application Support

At SKS Airways is a highly technology driven organization. Technology solutions will be in place to ensure that our operations run smoothly, we communicate and collaborate effectively, reach out to our Customers thru many technology driven channels.

IT Application Support is essential to ensure that our applications are run efficiently.

IT Application Support will oversee all the IT systems and assets, perform upgrades and fixes, and provide training and support to the system Users.

IT Application Support must have extensive knowledge of IT

software applications, industry trends and indepth knowledge of the applications to keep us on the cutting edge. Engage with employees throughout the company, the IT support person will have an

immediate impact on the efficiency of our operations and overall growth.

IT Application Support plans, prioritizes, schedules, reports and effectively execute the application maintenance and support services. Track and drives the resolution of operational incidents and manages the problem management processes. Champions the Users IT needs.

As an IT Application Support Manager, the person is expected to lead the team of IT application support personnel and manage the department and its processes.

Objectives of this role

To ensure the smooth running of all IT Applications in support of our operations.

Handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements actions.

Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity.

Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software applications.

Serve as the subject-matter expert supporting Windows, Citrix, and widely used software and applications, such as Google Workspace.


Ensures the smooth running of the Company’s enterprise applications.

Owns and operates processes in application support.

Manages the contract with application Vendors and acts as liaison between the company and the application vendor.

Sets-up the process and monitors and reports on application performance.

Sets-up the process and manage problem reporting, record, resolve, escalate and report on application issues.

Sets-up and manages change request process and delivers on app changes.

Monitors and assures application quality.

Advocates the User needs and wants.

Required skills and qualifications.

Five years of experience in IT in area of hardware and network support, development and maintenance.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Information Technology or Management Information Systems.

Project management experience, Project Management Certification is an added advantage.

ITIL certification or related Professional certification is an added advantage.

Airline IT experience is an added advantage.

Knowledge of Cloud, Operating Systems, Citrix, Google Workspace
