We are open recruitment and happily inform you that we are looking for candidates to fill the position of OPERATION EXECUTIVE/MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (2 VACANCIES) in our company, tt homes. For candidates who reside in Selangor - Others and its neighboring regions, we are looking for you to be a part of us and work in our company office, and able to labor under a full time system.

We have specific requirements for each of our employees as well as potential workers, because we are a professional and knowledgeable business in the field we work in. We are interested in hearing from you as soon as possible if you have expertise in the fields Manufacturing & Maintenance and possess a Professional Certificate, Diploma & Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or higher.

We offer you a fairly competitive salary that can be adjusted depending on the credibility you can contribute to our company. It typically ranges from RM 2,500 - RM 3,500 and likely to change at any time. This salary negotiation must be agreed based on our company's HRD agreement.

Two vacancies available:

1) OPERATION EXECUTIVE

This role is responsible for providing superior client experiences and solutions to all guests to ensure theirneeds and expectations are met and exceeded, and that the reputation of the Company is enhanced before/during their stay. Key accountabilities include to; supervise all room cleanings, identify maintenancesto be done in a timely and accurate manner. Manage and resolve routine guest issues and complaints in afriendly and professional manner, ensuring guests are satisfied with resolutions provided.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred tertiary, diploma/degree education in hotel management/hospitality/tourism
  • Able to speak Mandarin/Cantonese, English/Malay. Knowledge of other languages is an added value
  • Customer oriented
  • Pays great attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Reliable & has sense of urgency
  • Willing to learn, pro-active
  • Have own transport
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • No work experience is required as training will be provided

REPORTS DIRECTLY TO:

Operations Manager

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervise Operations team to ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations
  2. Identify maintenance issues quickly and report to Maintenance
  3. Resolve day-to day staff performance issues and keep Operations Manager informed
  4. Arrange for Weekday and weekend Duty Roster

2) MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of thehotel. And to Complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following hotels standard operating procedures. Continually work towards and support the improvement of maintenance service to guests, other departments and fellow staffs.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • To be able to work in a neat and efficient manner, keeping work areas clean and well organized.
  • Responsible, reliable, independent and has sense of urgency.
  • Honest, Reliable, Efficient and Professional at all times.
  • Able to carry out multitask and work independently with minimum supervision and adheres to hotel theStandard Operating Procedures.
  • Applicants must be willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays and longer hours
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools) is a plus
  • With skills in plumbing, air-cond servicing and trouble-shooting, wiring & electrical, basic carpentry is an advantage;
  • Minimum 1 year and above experience in a similar role with a good understanding of Malay/English, both written and oral.

REPORTS DIRECTLY TO:

Operations Manager

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance
  2. Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
  4. Communicate and work closely with Operation to attend any defects.
  5. Ability to interpret readings from meters & gauges and other measuring units
  6. Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
  7. Ability to work under pressure situations and exercise good judgements.
  8. Ability to focus attention on details, speed and accuracy.
  9. Ability to maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information.
  10. Ability to read and understand test equipment, measuring devices, and safety manuals.
  11. Perform maintenance activities in the guest room like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners / HVAC and AC ducts.
  12. Program TV’s and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
  13. Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment.
  14. To operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality.
  15. To be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect guests and associates, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency.
  16. Carry out specific oral and written instructions as assigned by Operations Manager.
