The Role

We’re seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the growing DDM Finance team. The ideal candidate is analytical minded, technologically inclined, results driven, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to take on a core payroll role in a fast growing company

in the AdTech space and help implement new systems and procedures. This role requires a thorough understanding of all aspects of the payroll, sales incentive compensation program, and equity processes for a growing organization and a commitment to providing excellent service to the company’s employees.

Main responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Own the payroll function and serve as the main point of contact for all payroll related matters
  • Process and reconcile semi-monthly/monthly payroll in Ceridian for APAC regions
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Ensure payroll tax returns are filed accurately, timely and in compliance with tax authorities
  • Assist with stock equity administration and process stock related payroll transactions monthly
  • Record payroll related entries and accruals in the ERP and reconcile accounts monthly
  • Participate in the monthly and quarterly commission and bonus calculation process
  • Work with 3rd parties (including our tax advisors) on all payroll tax matters to ensure the Company is compliant in all latest tax development and legislations across the APAC regions
  • Conduct periodic audits of all payroll records and assist in preparing payroll and financial audits
  • Collaborate with other teams on cross-functional payroll matters and provide company wide training on payroll policies and procedures
  • Assist in payroll system implementation to Ceridian in APAC as part of the global rollout
  • Assist in ad hoc projects such as documenting workflows, registering in new entities for payroll taxation, improving processes/procedures and system implementations
  • Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience end-to-end processing medium to large size company payroll
  • Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements in relation to taxation, superannuation/pension and other statutory obligations
  • Experience with equity transactions a must
  • Experience with payroll system implementation a must
  • Experience with Google Drive, including Google Docs, Sheets and Slides a must
  • Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce/Excelity a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excel in analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to details and minimal supervision
