Our company is currently seeking employees to fill the position as Sales Executive, Distributor Developer (Sarawak Region- Highstreet). The average starting salary we can offer you is in the range of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700. If you have credibility beyond the minimum criteria we are looking for, the provisions regarding the average initial salary we offer may change according to our company HRD agreement.

1.   Drive Sales volume & revenues through effective business plans:-

Create annual sales plan for MEP and allocate team coverage plans and targets for MEP. Allocate MEP sales targets and develop MEP business plans to track and review team and MEP performance.

2.   Implement marketing initiatives through MEP:-

Communicate campaigns and promotions to MEP and track and review campaign and promotion effectiveness with MEP. Propose visibility drive, track and review implementation and also obtain and collate feedback and reviews on campaign & POSM effectiveness from trade. Execute marketing TSPs, tracks and review implementation.

3.   Manage MEPs and develop their skill set:-

Propose and coordinate training/briefing sessions for MEPs. Create annual OJT plan for MEPs together with Area Sales Manager (ASM). Conduct daily / weekly meetings with MEP sales team to effectively communicate and implement MEP strategies devised by PLMM.

4.  Manage accounts receivables:-

Create and review collection plan and highlight risks and adversities. Ensure compliance of OD/TAR and within target.

5.  Ensure accurate sales volume forecasting:-

Create quarterly rolling volume forecast by SKU and by MEP (M+3). Review and modify forecast accordingly to requirements on monthly submission.

6.   Governance and adhere with PLMM reporting needs:-

Setup information collection mechanism both trade and competitor. Prepare required reports as needed by Head of Commercial (HOC) for submission.

7.   Execution of MEP engagement model:- 

Conduct together with direct report Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Business Review.

8.   DMS/SFA compliance:-

Ensure MEP Distributor Sales Representatives (DSR) 100% utilization and up to date maintenance of DMS/SFA by MEP.

Job Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Business Studies / Engineering / Other Technical studies
  • Possessing Technical background would be an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in sales, preferably in lubricants, FMCG, and other related industries
  • Energetic and resourceful with excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills.
  • Independent, result oriented, self-motivated and possess good attitude.
  • Willing to travel, be relocated, possess valid driving license and own transport.
