We are hiring for candidates in the residents of Petaling Jaya and the surrounding regions, we are open recruitment for the positions as Senior Executive, Finance in our business office, Lotus Fivestar Cinemas (M) Sdn Bhd.

We can offer you a salary that is generally between RM 4,000 - RM 5,600, which is competitive and reasonable. But no need to be worry! We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Executive Finance to join our dynamic team at a leading cinema company. The Senior Executive, Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the cinema’s growth and profitability. This role requires a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support the cinema’s long-term goals.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to drive business decisions and optimize financial performance.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, and recommend strategies to improve profitability and cost-efficiency.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial information.

Budget Management:

  • Collaborate with department heads to develop departmental budgets and monitor expenses.
  • Track actual spending against budgets, identify variances, and provide recommendations for cost control measures.
  • Conduct financial analysis of capital expenditure proposals and assess their financial viability.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize cash utilization.
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and manage cash reserves to meet operational requirements.
  • Implement strategies to improve cash management and minimize financial risks.

Financial Systems and Processes:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline financial operations.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of financial records.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Present financial reports and analysis to management and board members.
  • Assist in fundraising activities, financial modelling, and due diligence processes.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master’s degree and professional certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an Executive Finance, or similar role, preferably in the entertainment or cinema industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial planning, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting systems and reporting tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa written and oral, and preferably can converse in Tamil.
