L'OCCITANE Malaysia Sdn Bhd has open a job vacancy for the domicile of Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas as special projects executive (socials, contents & pr) - contract with contract work system which will then be placed in our company office.

The candidates we need are those who have the minimum criteria of Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma & Professional Degree and experienced and have the integrity to work in the field of Arts/Media/Communications & Public Relations.

As a professional company, we offer a competitive monthly base salary RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 which can be adjusted by the decision of our HRD company and adjusts to the capabilities of the candidate offers for our company.

Job Summary:

  1. From content creation to ideation, understanding data to running them as actionable campaigns. 
  2. Major tasks include to direct and propose content, creatives, strategies & performance to optimize the use of social media to engage its community (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram (NEW to explore) & etc) to achieve desire results through an acute understanding of all the brand’s needs. Execute strategies to improve brand’s top of mind as well as to build brand love in social community for the Malay target audience. 
  3. Work hand in hand with existing Socials and brand team to ensure consistency in driving brand image.

You will play an important role in these key areas:

1.      Social Media Management

  • To manage day-to-day coordination of social media and provide input on creative ways to execute campaign promotions/ launches and other social initiatives – stories, posts & videos
  • Creatively, passionately stimulate interest in brand’s mission, products and the experience through strong story telling across all social platform (Facebook, Instagram,Tik Tok, Telegram).
  • Monitor social media analytics & optimize to hit agreed metrics
  • Collaborate closely with marketing team in the ideation and execution of social strategy for the campaigns to achieve business & campaign-specific objectives
  • To prepare social media calendar planning in line with optimal posting schedule
  • Execute publishing of social media content independently or working with agency
  • Prepare visual & copies for social media independently or working with agency
  • Follow industry-related news & generate ideas around trending topics, identify gaps and opportunities in the existing content pillars & suggest new topics to further enhance campaign dimensions
  • Constantly looking for new potential social media platforms to build community

2.      Community Management

  • To build meaningful connections with different the Malay consumers to increase Malay pax in Social media follower growth ,Social media engagement rate, Social media traffic, Digital share of voice vs competitors
  • To establish culture & tone: grow community base, drive engagement, develop overall strategy & establish measurable goals for the community
  • Create a sense of community & connection by curating & organizing the right mix of events – online to offline to boost brand awareness
  • Monitor, report on feedback & online reviews
  • To develop collaboration or partnerships
  • Track & analyze key metrics to ensure active community participation & growth
  • Stay current with community trends and brainstorm/ execute new ideas for campaigns to foster community healthy growth & engagement
  • PR – to assist in execution of producing PR/media comms and assist in PR events with the direction of Special Projects Manager

We are looking passionate person who has:

  • At least 2-3 years of managing websites or e-commerce experience
  • Passion in aesthetic photography
  • Strong interest in beauty, lifestyle trends
  • Strong written communication skills to inspire & influence 
  • Able to work with minimal supervision & at the same time, good team player
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
