We are offering a salary of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 for this position for interested candidates. However, this salary range can be negotiated and changed if the candidate's credibility exceeds our expectations and for sure, the agreement is adjusted to the policies of our company's HRD. Business Need / Purpose of Role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is reporting to the Talent Acquisition Partner – APAC and is responsible for the components of the full life cycle recruiting process to include, but not limited to, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, application, onboarding qualified candidates, creating an engaging candidate experience, building a strong employer brand for Inchcape Shipping Services and a trusted Talent advisor to our business leaders to deliver a comprehensive and value-added service.

Objectives & Measurement – Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process and life cycle, including initial assessment, interviews, issuing of offer letters, counsel candidates on corporate benefits, salary and corporate environment and on-boarding process.
  • Promote internal employee referral program by encouraging internal employees to refer friends to the organization
  • Use social media, job boards, internet sourcing and other technical means to source candidates for job openings and future talent needs.
  • Ensures that the established hiring process is followed, documented, and fully complies with all current trends, laws, and organization’s hiring requirements.
  • Manage the recruitment process and life cycle, including initial assessment, interviews, issuing of offer letters, counsel candidates on corporate benefits, salary and corporate environment and on-boarding process.
  • Be a Liaison Officer in managing and coordinating the recruitment activities with the assigned internal stakeholders, external business partners within the budget allocated.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition Partner and HR Business Partner and line managers in identifying talent needs both short-term and long-term and develop/maintain the talent pool for business expansion.
  • Work with assigned job boards to maximize the return of investment i.e. talent / pipeline pool, enhance market visibility.
  • Any other related roles relating to HR resourcing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of recruiting technology resources, and an understanding of talent acquisition strategies.
  • Knowledge of online hiring practices, behavioral-based interviewing, and assessment techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions and TA performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of Talent Acquisition as a function, including best practices and the trends that are affecting it.
  • Must exercise good judgment, tact, and diplomacy while demonstrating a high degree of integrity and judgment in dealing with confidential matters and maintenance of sensitive records.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, multitask and possess strong initiative, exercise independent judgment within established systems and procedures.
  • Ability to think logically, establish and follow procedures, instructions and make sound decisions.
  • Passion for creating outstanding employee and candidate experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail are paramount; accuracy is a must.
  • Must possess an advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related major in a public or accredited private academic institution preferred.
  • Possess 3-5 years of progressing experience in a fast-paced high volume recruitment field with a combination of corporate, operational, and industrial recruitment experience from entry level to executive level positions.
  • Experience with Boolean and direct sourcing capabilities (LinkedIn Recruiter, social media)
  • Experience using and HRIS or ATS (e.g., BambooHR, Taleo, etc.)
