Tomaz Shoes Sdn Bhd has open a job vacancy for the domicile of Subang Jaya and surrounding areas as warehouse manager with full time work system which will then be placed in our company office.

The candidates we need are those who have the minimum criteria of Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma & Professional Degree and experienced and have the integrity to work in the field of Manufacturing & Purchasing/Material Mgmt.

Responsible to oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. Exceptionally detail-oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. Must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times, ultimately overseeing the fulfilment of product orders every year.

1. Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision.

2. Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.

3. Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping.

4. Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.

5. Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.

6. Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.

7. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

8. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling them with the data storage system.

9. Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.

10. Schedule and oversee the warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfilment centre, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.

11. Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.

12. Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.

13. Maintain Warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling, disciplining employees; planning, monitoring & appraising job results.

14. Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and transport company to ensure efficient delivery of packages.

Job requirement

1. Proven work experience as a warehouse manager/ Assistant Manager in the retail sector.

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial role.

3. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.

4. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.

5. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

6. Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.

7. Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.

8. Strong decision-making and excellent problem-solving skills.

9. Excellent communication skills & ability to work with all levels of staff.
