We are hiring for the position of Automation Engineer with full time working hours for our company office, Aluminium Company of Malaysia Berhad, for residents of Klang/Port Klang and its neighboring areas.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the yearly target of the electricalelectronic downtime of various production equipment plant-wide.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the company’s goals for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Designing and developing automation systems, including robotic systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other control systems to improve production workflows.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of automated equipment on the manufacturing floor and ensure that the systems are correctly installed, calibrated, and interfaced with existing machinery and production lines.
- Diagnose and resolving technical problems related to automation systems including regular maintenance and update of the control systems.
- Ensure that automated systems meet safety standards and comply with relevant regulations.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 year (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
