- Assisting the Regional Finance and Managing Director on the day to day accounting functions and other responsibilities.
- Manage, develop, and groom Finance Department staff.
- Month end closing; preparation, review and analysis of management accounts; consolidation of accounts, review of financial and management reports, budgets and cashflow forecast.
- Corporate finance matters, restructuring & corporate exercises, feasibility studies, budgets, cash flow projections, financial analysis and evaluation of performances, variance analysis, cost control, draft and review agreements.
- Coordinate the preparation of annual reports, annual & special audits including liaison with auditors on year end statutory audits and other ad-hoc exercises.
- Formulation and implementation of effective internal control policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Possess minimum Degree on Accounting or professional accounting qualification(s).
- Have minimum 8-10 years relevant working experience in the related field.
- Candidate must be willing to relocate to Brunei.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Strong drive and positive attitude.
- Strong leadership and management skill.
- Able to effectively influence and develop strong relationships.
- A “hands on” approach and result oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work on feasibility studies, budgets and cashflow projections independently.
