We are currently looking for adequate candidates to fill the position of Store Manager (Suria Sabah). For candidates who reside in Kota Kinabalu and its surrounding areas, we are looking forward to hearing from you to join our team at MJ Department Stores Sdn Bhd and willing to work in our office under full time working hours system.

We have specific requirements for each of our employees as well as potential workers because we are a professional and knowledgeable business in the field we work in. We look forward to hearing from you soon if you have expertise in the fields of Sales/Marketing & Retail Sales with a minimum Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, & Professional Degree.

We can give you a fairly competitive salary in the amount of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 on average. It also can be modified based on the credibility and experience you can provide for our business in accordance with our company HRD agreement.

To perform all operation duties as and when directed by Management, committed and energetic towards achieving company goals. Plans and directs the day-to-day operations of a retail store. Maintains store appearance and product presentation to meet company standards. Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are solved and service is quick and efficient.

1) Responsible for the smooth and effective functioning of the store;

2) Ensure proper discipline standards are maintained;

3) Ensure steps and measures are taken to build the goodwill and image of the company;

4) Ensure the store ambience is at all times presentable and pleasant for customers;

5) Responsible for the optimization of resources allocated especially productivity of selling floor;

6) Ensure feedback and liaise with merchants by providing value adding feedback from customers;

7) Achieve sales target and monitor shrinkage or losses;

8) To Perform ad-hoc duties in department when assigned by Top Management.
