The initial salary that we can offer is quite competitive with a range of RM 3,000 - RM 4,000. If the credibility and experience that the candidate has exceeds the minimum criteria we need, the salary can change and adjusted according to the decisions of our company's HRD agreement.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

·        To manage the full Finance spectrum for the Company and subsidiaries & operations.

·        Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.

·        Work closely with relevant parties/ stakeholders to resolve AR collection issues.

·        Drive timely and accurate month-end closing and reporting processes.

·        Provide overall Company and subsidiaries P & L reports

·        Manage day-to-day activities in treasury functions to meet the financial obligations of the Company

·        Performs treasury activities related to cash flow, borrowings, debts, and capital management.

·        Allocate cash balances, maintain investment records, and prepare expense and earnings forecasts.

·        Ensure policies and procedures meet the organization’s objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements.

·        Regulate procurement of funds and monitors investments and collections. Requires a bachelor’s degree.

·        Handle corporate tax and indirect tax including statutory tax matters

·        In charge of statutory/special audit and tax audit

·        Prepare cash flow forecasts with stakeholders’ inputs for Finance’s funding allocation.

·        Fostering skill development and professional growth of team members using coaching and hands-on learning.

·        Provide advice to internal stakeholders in relation to any new business initiatives from accounting and tax perspectives.

·        To actively contribute to continuous efforts in process improvements and establish sound

·         Internal controls and standard financial/operating procedures.

·        Develop financial plans, forecasting periodic budgets, assisting in strategic management of the Company by providing relevant information and advice.

·        Supervise & follow up on all banking and taxation matters of the Company.

·        Regulate appropriate capital structure.

·        Overseeing planning, execution and servicing of various accounts in the branches.

·        Assist in any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

Required Skills: Microsoft office, Auto count / SAP system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possesses, at least, a Diploma/Advance Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in related field.
  • Advance knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
  • Familiar with audit procedures.
  • Computer literate in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Diligent and committed to work.
  • Positive working attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good personality and positive working attitudes, meticulous, self-discipline and dedicate to work.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Required Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (Added advantage)
  • Possess own transport.
  • Able to work in a fast-pace working environment.
  • Able to start immediately or within short notice.
  • Able to work alternate Saturday 8.30am to 1pm

Heng Seng & Company is incorporated since 1946 after Japanese War as requirement by the Malaya Law. During the era, we have been trading with various products such as garment, sundry goods, motorcycle, sewing machine, stoves, radio, toothbrush and toothpaste, liquor, rubber estate and many more.

However, the founder of the company discovered the usage of LPG when he was studying in the boarding school in Singapore which is supplied by Shell.

The founder then writes the letter to Shell and when Shell enters Malaysia, we become the first and oldest LPG distributor in Malaysia to date. As a company, our business now deals with LPG, Sugar, and Logistic of various goods.

We are currently the sole distributor for MYGAZ (Ex-Shell), SOLAR GAS, and PETRON GAS (Ex-Exxon Mobil) which cover Kelantan and Terengganu. For logistic, we transport LPG in cylinder form (using metal pallets and general cargo), Cooking Oil, Components, Sugar, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Container, Crude Palm Oil, LPG in Bulk Form (Like Petroleum Tanker) and Mining Mineral (Limestone, Iron Ore, Sand, Etc)

We are also looking into Iron Ore Mining Operations and Shipping.
