Our company offers competitive salary that can be adjusted to how skilled the capability of interested candidates will be, with monthly base salary RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 in accordance with the decisions of our company's HRD.

1.     POSITION SUMMARY

·       Drives the organisation’s merchandising strategies and plans through directing category management, product assortments, as well as budget forecasting for the merchandising function.

·       Responsible for driving the buying process through developing and managing an effective Merchandising & Planning team, creating a service culture that deliver results and work on aligning merchandise to local demand, buying patterns and opportunities based on various analysis and retail report. 

1.     KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

·    Meeting annual sales target with prefix metrics

·    Sell through, WOS coverage vs. store

·    Manage stock ageing based on; current, end of season, obsolete. (KPI: Stock Inventory)

1.     KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

•      Drive and direct Merchandising and product strategies with business strategies

•      Drive, lead and evaluate category management and product assortments with established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

•      Establish and manage Open-To-Buy (OTB) activities

•      Direct effective use of OTB in the respective product categories to maintain / improve sales, inventory, margin and overall turnover objectives

•      Set price positioning direction and drive product promotion strategies

•      Set category performance expectations and guidelines

•      Manage all fiscal sales, receipt, margin and Open-To-Buy reporting, reviewing merchandising sales and inventory data to strategise assortment planning

•      Analyse historical performance and forecast business based on current trend and recommend strategies to ensure plan is achieved

•      Evaluate and analyse business reports to seize business opportunities, make recommendations to turn inventory quickly and to minimise business risks
