Scope of Position – CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders in the logistics chain.
Skills & Qualifications we look for include;
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain, computer literacy and experience working with IT based systems, Attention to detail, Strong time management skills, Communication skills, Ability to work well with others, in other words a good team player, Organization skills, Understanding of WORKFLOW issues.
** Experience working in logistics field.
** Fluent in English
Duties & Responsibilities include;
· Interacting with our customers, overseas stations and agents in arranging their bookings while offering them an excellent customer service experience.
· Ensure a smooth and timely freight process flow
· Coordinate booking confirmations between shipping lines and shippers, timely.
· Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operating system
· Track and trace shipments as required
· Utilize Process Monitors and Workflows on daily basis
· Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers (shipping lines, trucking companies, custom brokers and others)
· Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
