- Provide 1st /2nd level technical support on IT security matters.
- Monitoring, administration, and management of the company – wide IT network security systems.
- Perform initial threat assessment, risk solution or forensic investigation.
- To interact with business users by phone/ email or in-person to resolve their problems related to network security issues.
- Collaborate with other IT engineers to get business operation up and running up the event of cyber-attacks.
- Update network security system rules and policies according to business needs.
- Monitor network penetration tests and system hardening activities.
Job Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in IT security and networking.
- Familiar with cybersecurity; vulnerabilities, exploits, malware, ransomware, malicious emails, systems hardening, patching, etc.
- Knowledge of IP protocol (TCP/IP), network routing, VPN, firewall, IPS and load balancer
- Experience in Palo Alto and Cisco security and network products.
- Experience in network packet analyser tools such as Wireshark, and NetFlow is an added advantage.
- Experience in network forensic analysis (log files, malicious coding, etc) is an added advantage.
- Familiar with Windows Server and Linux Operating System.
- Research and analytical skills with the ability to collect information, report factual data and present logical conclusions.
- Willing to work after office hours, Public Holidays and Weekends.
