DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY
- Develop a merchandising strategy for the department taking into consideration customer profile, classifications, resource structure, major vendors, fashion trends, items and price points.
- Merchandising planning and analysis.
- Merchandise presentation responsibilities.
- Advertising responsibilities.
- Shortage control and quality control responsibilities.
- Achieve targeted merchandise margin for respective brands for the financial year.
- To undertake any other jobs directed by the superior from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business Administration/Retail Management or related.
- Min 2 years’ experience in the retail industry.
- Proven track record in managing a mix of fashion brands/fashion concepts/home concepts.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment and capable of communicating/negotiating with a diverse range of individuals.
- Ability to travel.
