In accordance of our HRD decision, the net salary we can offer is of RM 3,000 - RM 5,000 per month which is competitive and can be adjusted to the work capabilities that the candidate offers for our company.

We are currently seeking a Regional Risk Analyst to join our Risk & Actuarial team. In this role, you will support department reporting activities, primarily focused on risk management, and manage projects to ensure timely deliverables while complying with regulatory requirements, company guidelines, and the governance framework. Additionally, you will contribute to the achievement of our company’s strategic business goals and financial profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Takes immediate action when confronted with a problem or made aware of a situation.
- Implements new ideas or potential solutions without prompting; does not wait for others to take action or request action.
- Takes action that goes beyond job requirements to achieve objectives.
- Guides and reviews tasks performed by junior personnel.
- Facilitates the submission of risk reports and the documentation of the risk management system.
- Supports the monitoring and submission of data quality and highlights significant issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Supports climate risk management initiatives within the Branch in accordance with regulatory and Group requirements.
- Supports business continuity management within the Company.
- Assists in performing the stress testing exercise and capital impact assessment in accordance with regulatory and Group requirements.
- Supports the preparation of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and risk assessments for regulatory and Group submissions.
- Generates innovative solutions to address business problems.
- Combines ideas in unique ways, makes connections between disparate ideas, explores different lines of thought, views situations from multiple perspectives, and brainstorms multiple approaches/solutions.
- Liaises with various stakeholders to set up/enhance risk management processes, including but not limited to climate change, operational risk, and exposure monitoring.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, SQL, PowerBi, and R is a plus.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in the risk management or actuarial field. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with sound knowledge and familiarity with risk management and/or actuarial practices are advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills are required, with the ability to solve problems and achieve desired outcomes.
- The ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently is essential.
- Agile and proficient in written and spoken business English for communication with internal and external stakeholders, including business presentations and interpersonal communication.
