We are currently looking for adequate candidates to fill the position of Senior Executive, Legal. We can give you a fairly competitive salary in the amount of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 on average. It also can be modified based on the credibility and experience you can provide for our business in accordance with our company HRD agreement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft, review and revise on all types of agreements/contracts in connection with the Company’s business (including but not limited to commercial, operations, information technology, telecommunication, supply chain, logistics, finance, tenancy, franchise, human resource and marketing).
- Provide legal support and advise on regulatory issues and compliance with laws and policies.
- Handles litigation matters, demand, disputes, customer complaints and other contentious issues, where required, and coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders and external solicitors on such matters.
- Provides support to cross functional teams in relation to drafting legal related documents.
- Responsible to assist the Company’s compliance and governance functions (including compliance policy, compliance assessment, reporting and training);
- Assist to develop, establish, implement and continuously improve frameworks, policies, procedures, processes and controls, etc. to ensure compliance by the Company with all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines;
- Participate in negotiation meetings;
- Provide valuable contributions in identifying and highlighting gaps and proposing measures to mitigate risks;
- Prepare and update status report, managing necessary records and filing system of all legal matters; and
- Any and other duties and responsibilities that will be assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor of Laws
- Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience (excluding chambering), either as an Advocate & Solicitor or an in-house lawyer, preferably admitted to the Malaysian Bar
- Professional legal knowledge and working experience in any of the following areas of law: contract and commercial, company, intellectual property, conveyancing, land, tort, information technology, privacy, dispute resolution and/or
- Aptitude for accuracy and attention to details
- Competent drafting skill
- Strong writing and analytical capability
- Good communication skill, both written and spoken
