We are currently looking for adequate candidates to fill the position of Senior Executive, Strategic Advisory. We can give you a fairly competitive salary in the amount of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 on average. It also can be modified based on the credibility and experience you can provide for our business in accordance with our company HRD agreement.

(a) To contribute to the Strategic Advisory function by:

(i) Assisting in the production of planned strategic studies and thought leadership papers (in collaboration with other CSPD functions and other departments / divisions) for consumption by senior management and Board

(ii) Conducting analysis and carrying out independent research (primary or secondary) using a variety of research methodologies (eg. desktop studies, interviews, focus groups, workshops, etc) to support the full spectrum of strategic advisory services

(ii) Executing research and data collection through cross-divisional / cross-departmental engagements

(iv) Identifying, gathering, cleaning, analysing and interpreting data sets from internal and external sources

(v) Preparing written materials and presentation decks for briefings, proposals, strategic analysis papers for consumption by senior management and Board

(vi) Preparing written materials and presentation decks for engagements with external parties such as Ministry of Finance (MoF), Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries (MAFI) and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)

(vii) Providing support to strategic projects related to Strategic Advisory and coordinating cross-functional workstreams

(vii) Functioning as a change agent and assisting the implementation of solutions and recommendations and project management on a selective basis in collaboration with other divisions and departments, where necessary

(ix) Acting as ‘first-responder’ to manage the queries and concerns of internal stakeholders related to advisory assignments and to provide support where necessary

(x) Generating analysis and providing recommendations on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sophistication in strategic advisory practices

(b) Supporting the Section Head, Strategic Advisory in:

(i) Working closely with internal stakeholders / ‘customers’ to design and deliver strategic advisory projects – through correctly defining the scope, objectives and outcomes of the engagement for planned and ad hoc service requests

(ii) Providing analytical support (eg. financial analysis & modellingbenefit analysis, competitive analysis, etc) using appropriate tools and frameworks

(ii) Synthesising conclusions of analysis for consumption by SH, Strategic Advisory and facilitating further discourse to develop actionable insights and recommendations

(iv) Preparing final reports which sets out the findings from the analysis, suggested recommendations and action plans, expected resource requirements (if any) and the expected benefits (financial or non-financial)

(v) Monitoring and reporting of post-implementation impact of the executed solutions to ensure the recommendations achieve their intended outcomes

(c) Other duties:

(i) Supporting the logistical requirements and coordination of Strategic Advisory and CSPD activities

(ii) Ensuring high service quality during engagements with internal parties within the Bank and external parties

(ii) Perform other duties as assigned by Head, CSPD and CSO on an ad-hoc basisand reports based on instructions by Head, CSPD and CSO on an ad-hoc basis
