The candidates we need are those who have the minimum criteria of Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, & Professional Degree and experienced and have the integrity to work in the field of Accounting/Finance & Banking/Financial.

Trust Manager (Operation)

The Trust Manager is responsible for efficiently and accurately managing a portfolio of trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional service to beneficiaries.

This role involves administering trust accounts, maintaining financial records, facilitating communication between all stakeholders, and supporting the overall goals of the trust department.

Job Responsibility:

Communication and Relationship Management:

  1. Act as the primary point of contact for beneficiaries, addressing inquiries and providing updates on trust matters.
  2. Foster positive relationships with beneficiaries, co-trustees, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
  3. Facilitate regular meetings and communication among trust stakeholders to ensure alignment with trust goals.
  4. Identifying opportunities to grow the trust business, attracting new clients, and expanding the portfolio of trust services offered.

Trust Administration:

  1. Manage a portfolio of trust accounts, including revocable, irrevocable, charitable, and other types of trusts.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of trusts, including income collection, disbursements, and investment management.
  3. Ensure compliance with trust agreements, legal guidelines, and industry regulations.
  4. Handle trust funding and asset transfers according to established procedures.
  5. To perform data verification of information/customer KYC with reference to our SOP.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  1. Ensuring that all trust operations and activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Managing potential risks associated with trust administration and taking appropriate measures to mitigate those risks.
  2. Ensure proper documentation and reporting in accordance with legal requirements.
  3. Collaborate with inhouse/external legal counsel to resolve complex trust administration issues and ensure compliance.

Financial Reporting:

  1. Work closely with finance department to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for each trust, including transactions, distributions, and investment performance.
  2. Assist on preparing periodic financial statements and reports for beneficiaries, co-trustees, and other relevant parties.

Qualification :

  1. Post Graduate Diploma, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field (advanced degree or industry certification preferred).
  2. Strong understanding of trust principles, fiduciary duties, and legal requirements.
  3. Prior experience in trust administration, financial services, or related roles.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical abilities.
  6.  Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  7. Knowledge of investment principles and asset management is a plus.
  8. Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
