Investor Relationship, Assistant Manager/ Manager (KL/ KK)
You will be instrumental in our company’s success by actively sourcing funding opportunities, building relationships with investors, and strategically positioning our startup to attract investment. You will facilitate effective communication between the company’s management and investors, covering various aspects such as strategy, business plans, budgets, and annual results through both verbal and written means.
2 vacancies available, 1 base in Kuala Lumpur, and 1 base in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Responsibilities:
1. To sell Adviser2U’s Premium Subscription Plan to potential Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs).
2. Identifying and sourcing the right VC funds, Angel funds, HNWI, and family businesses.
3. Conducting PR activities to engage and excite potential investors and manage investor pipeline.
4. Effectively communicating the value proposition of our startup to internal stakeholders.
5. Establishing and maintaining relationships with media contacts who can help us connect with VC and Angel investors.
6. Crafting, editing, and enhancing investor decks to showcase our startup’s potential.
7. Writing and publishing Newsletters with appropriate Marketing Platform
8. Publishing social media posts, tailored for our target audience
9. Analyzing campaign results, improving the messaging, content
10. Representing our company at tech conferences to network and build relationships with investors.
11. Build a network of connections within the startup ecosystem, including investors, media, and industry influencers. Especially in Tier 1 cities regarding access to startup capital
Requirements:
· Proven experience in startup business development, investor relations, high-impact sales or a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of the investment landscape, VC funds, Angel funds, and family businesses.
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and convincingly.
· Excellent writing and editing skills, specifically for investor decks and other communication materials.
· Proficiency in managing investor relationships and pipelines using CRM tools like Crunch Base/ HubSpot.
· Demonstrated ability to build rapport and foster long-term relationships with investors and stakeholders.
· Willingness to attend conferences and events outside of regular office hours.
