Our company is currently seeking employees to fill the position as IT Operations Analyst. Job Summary
- The primary responsibility of this role is to provide day-to-day operation and maintenance of MONITOR’s various infrastructure in Regional Offices.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility of ensuring uptime within SLA on all services
- Daily maintenance of hosting environment
- Implement improvements and update hosting environment.
- Configure virtual network appliances and virtual machines.
- Perform installation of new customer systems as well as migration of existing systems.
- Establish direct contact with customers and third-party IT companies.
- Provide daily IT operational support to local/internal users and work closely with Headquarter IT Team
- Register and resolve IT related support cases within company SLA’s standard.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work in shifts or outside of normal business hours, as required by the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in Customer Hosting or general vCenter hosting.
- Experience of working with the VMware Cloud Foundation concept will be great advantage.
- Experience in Data Center operations will be added advantage.
- Excellence working knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 networking, BGP, IPSEC.
- Familiarity with VMware products such as vSphere, vCenter and vSAN.
- Basic knowledge in Server Administration is required.
- Requires a good command of English, and proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Ability to create effective relationships and collaborate internally and externally, at all organizational levels.
