Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed.
- Ensure excellent customer service by consistently maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere, addressing guest inquiries or concerns, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient food preparation, presentation, and timely delivery to guests’ tables.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock, supplies, and equipment to support smooth operations.
- Uphold and enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Foster teamwork and a positive work culture by promoting effective communication, cooperation, and mutual respect among team members.
- Contribute to the development and execution of promotional activities, special events, and initiatives to enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with composure.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus.
