Our company Starlai Sdn Bhd is currently looking for candidates who are domiciled in Segamat and surrounding areas with minimum criteria Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma & Professional Degree and experienced in the field of Accounting/Finance & General/Cost Accounting, as well as behave in a disciplined and honest manner, to then be placed in the position of accounts executive - segamat and be able to work in full time system.

In accordance of our HRD decision, the net salary we can offer is of RM 3,500 - RM 4,900 per month which is competitive and can be adjusted to the work capabilities that the candidate offers for our company.

Primary Responsibilities

Accounting

  1. Handle full set of accounts and responsible for month-end/ year-end financial closing activities, journal postings and prompt submission of relevant reports to the Management.
  2. Monitor bank balances and perform cash flow analysis planning.
  3. Handle petty cash and assist in stock take.
  4. Liaise with customers, suppliers, bankers, solicitors, company secretary and other regulatory authorities on respective activities.
  5. Prepare and liaise closely with auditors and tax consultants for the annual audit, audit analysis and submission of tax returns.
  6. Perform other related duties in the areas of insurance, renewal of license, commercial vehicle inspection, utilities bills, quit rent, assessment, tenancies, fixed assets/bad debt/stock written off, etc.

Human Resource

  1. Handle and manage HR related duties such as orientation, maintaining employee files, attendance and leave management.
  2. Support the HQ HR Department pertaining to event coordination, employee welfare and other related activities.  

Requirements:

  •  Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting
  • Required language(s): English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience is required for this position
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and has a strong sense of urgency and forward thinking
